Steve Brown  BA (Hons) Arch Dip Arch RIBA

Steve is an architect with over thirty years of experience in Europe and Asia as a Design Director for Aukett Swanke, Gensler and established and headed up Farrells’ first Asian office in Hong Kong.

Now running his own architecture and urban design consultancy Steve offers a flexible and direct design service in contrast to a more traditional model.

He works independently or in collaboration with like-minded professionals offering design direction, leadership, project feasibility, review and audit.

Working directly with clients or in collaboration with established and newly formed architectural practices he adds experienced design input and direction to existing projects, new commissions and pitches.

Steve has been a visiting critic at the Bartlett and Cambridge University and is currently tutoring a student through his Diploma in Architecture at Oxford Brookes University.

River Spas Tower Moscow

Steve Brown Architecture

Won in an international design competition this 30 storey residential tower contains 254 apartments designed to provide panoramic views of the Moscow River. The use of brick draws inspiration from the surrounding context.

Peninsula Quays London

As the first phase of a 180 hectare master plan the design for 1600 residential units, two hotels and retail set within extensive public and private landscaping.

The project involved complex resolution of significant site constraints and integration within an existing planning context.

Monet Residence Moscow

A very high specification residential tower of 18 floors on a site in central Moscow, due for completion in 2014. The 38,000 sq m building will provide state of the art apartments and a new landmark presence to the neighbourhood with an elegant and distinguished design.

Palladium Tower İstanbul

A striking 40 storey office tower of 99,000 sq m situated at a significant intersection on the Asian side of Istanbul. The design balances efficiency in floor plate and core design with affordable yet sustainable envelope design utilising coloured glass as a means of expression.

Bomonti Apartman Istanbul

The 20,400 sq m Apartman building is a six story building whose design responds to the context of the local scale and material consisting of 90 high end apartments and retail.

Arcus Office Development Moscow

A 45,000 sq m new office building in Central Moscow. The design meets strict commercial guidelines from the Client while achieving an efficient landmark building.
